When it comes to being a mother no one is perfect. You just got to do the best that you can and if you fall down pick yourself back up and keep going.

I 100% agree with you though. Get what you want to do out of the way and focus on you. Then you can settle down and raise a family with no regrets wishing you had done something you wanted to do before having kids and never got to do it.

Haven't heard of the Tudors.

Cougartown is hilarious!
You should watch that. It is so funny.

Raising kids--but SO WORTH it.
It is HARD, but so worth it in the end... It is one of the best things I have done..

Ohhh the Food network makes me so hungry! And I absolutely love the Biggest Loser! It's so great to see their hard work.

I'm not a huge TV watcher myself...not on the TV anyway. HULU is my bff! :p

Glee is on HULU!!!!!!

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH In N Out is the best! Living away from Cali I missed two things...the beach & In N Out! :) MMm... I will eat some in your honor ;)

In terms of being a parent, life will bring you that when you're ready :) Love your vlog & blog!

SMART! That's what you are. There is nothing "selfish" about wanting to wait to have kids or even decide if you WANT kids. You're young, and should do your thing while you can.

Agreed, you are smart, having children is not a decision to rush or to make because of other people's ideas. and check out Glee on Hulu, it's awesome! love your blog design

I'm going to have to find an In and Out (not sure if that is how it's spelled or not) because lots of folks are talking about them and I've never had one.

You are right, being a parent is a HUGE responsibility. The fact that you already get that and think about that means, to me, that you would be a good parent I think. However, I totally believe that not everyone needs to be a parent and it is that person's choice and we all should respect that - even if they change their mind later on.

If only more parents thought that deeply into what it means to raise a child. It is the toughest job ever and sometimes I feel taken too lightly these days.

I have never had an in and out burger.. we are just gonna have to find one in our travels to check it out.

I think I want to check out Glee too!

I hope you're having fun this week :) I'm sure you are... pfft.

I don't watch a lot of tv either... GLEE is friggin awesome OMG you need to watch it.

So you like In and Out, eh? I've never had their food. But I have been staying away from fast food since you posted that one link on FB. blech

LOL human. But that's admirable that you want to be 100% ready to be a parent. It is a big responsibility...Mmm hmm!

But you know, I really do think that we can only do so much otherwise we're just helicopter moms. I don't hover or smother. I let Charlie figure things out on her own, redirect her if needed, diffuse tantrums, and just love her. There's no manual after all.

Hi Lauren!! I know you are getting excited to get away from home. I can't wait to hear about your adventures :)

I love the Food Network too. It always makes me good and hungry though - and leaves me wanting to cook actually LOL

I totally need to watch The Biggest Loser - I've hard it is inspiring. I haven't seen The Tudors either - wow I'm a loser :(

Mmmmm In and Out Burger! We are getting one soon - they are building one right down the street! I am SO excited. When you come visit me, I will take you there okay?

Ummm yes, I am familiar with the obnoxious children. It's the parents fault LOL - but being a parent really is a big responsibility, and hard, but rewarding. I can understand being terrified, although you would be an excellent mom I'm sure!

I miss you on Skype...please come back? Good luck with your new job!

Thanks for mingling Flo!
